    Born in Laon in 1995, Kevin Biernat began his musical studies at the Laon Conservatory where he obtained his first diplomas in violin and musical training. He took advantage of these years in Laon to discover the world of the orchestra by participating in the “Orchestre Symphonique Départemental” directed by François-Xavier Roth.

After the end of his secondary studies, he chose to continue his training by joining the orchestral conducting class of the Regional Conservatory of Montpellier of Franck Fontcouberte and the faculty of musicology of Montpellier 3 - Paul Valéry where he will end up following a master under the direction of musicologist Guilherme Carvalho.

During these studies in Montpellier, he collaborated in master classes with big names in orchestral conducting such as Michael Schønwandt, principal conductor of the Opéra Orchester National de Montpellier Occitanie, Nicolas Brochot, conductor orchestra of the ballets of Monte-Carlo, Dominique Ruits, professor at the normal school of music and conductor of the opera of Massy, Jean-Claude Casadesus, former conductor of the Orchester National de Lille, Jungho Kim, a professor and tenured conductor at the University of Kent, Ohio in the United States.

After obtaining his Diploma of Musical Studies in Orchestral Conducting with high honors unanimously from the jury in 2020, he joined Rémy Campos' music history class at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. . In addition to his studies, he has led prestigious European ensembles such as the "United Strings of Europe" (USE) in London. Kevin Biernat has not forgotten his years as a violinist and is regularly invited to play with the professional orchestra Counterpoint and in the orchestra of the academy of the Abbey of Sylvanès festival conducted by Michel Piquemal.

Kevin Biernat is currently a professor at the Laon Conservatory where he is in charge of string orchestras and the symphony orchestra.

In 2021, he created the “Union des Timbres” ensemble with his bassist friend Thibaut Peltier.
